Pregnant?

You Deserve Respect

Gift of Life Adoptions has been helping Birth Parents make loving adoption plans since 1994. Our services are free to birth parents and we travel to you!

We have taken great lengths to make sure our Birth Parents feel respected and are heard during the adoption process. This is your adoption plan and we listen to you.

We are an agency that listens

Gift of Life can tailor an adoption plan to meet your expectations and help you navigate the adoption process.

As a Birth Parent, you have a lot of say in creating your own adoption plan. You can choose and meet the adoptive family and make a hospital plan. You can choose a closed, semi open or open adoption and receive picture and letter updates for 18 years.

You create the adoption plan that works for you.

Your caseworker may be able to offer assistance in signing up for services such as Medicaid and WIC, depending on your eligibility. Your caseworker may also be able to help you connect with peer support and other community resources.

Financial Assistance

We understand the financial stress an unplanned pregnancy can cause and we are here to help you meet those needs.

Your caseworker will help you create a budget to cover the cost of your living expenses during your pregnancy and for six weeks after the birth of the baby to enable you to get back on your feet. Those may include help with phone or electric bills, rent, maternity clothes, transportation costs (gas or a bus pass) and personal care.

Your caseworker can help you every step of the way.

At Gift of Life you will be matched with one of our compassionate, caring caseworkers, as your main contact at Gift of Life.

Your caseworker will be your support and advocate through the whole process and answer any questions that you have. She can also help you connect with moms who have already placed their child for adoption. We call that peer-support and, if you choose that process, you will be able to talk with strong, helpful and amazing women who have already gone through what you are going through right now.

If you choose, your caseworker can also be your support person during the labor and delivery process.

Your caseworker is here to listen.

Your caseworker has helped many moms just like you to complete an adoption plan and can help you process whatever you may be feeling or going through.

Gift of Life also has knowledgeable counselors with an enormous amount of adoption experience that can meet with you to help you talk through the adoption process and they can also help you talk to your family and/or friends about adoption. The child’s birth father is also eligible for counseling as are your parents, his parents and any other children that you may have. You may schedule your counseling sessions when it is most convenient for you: in person, phone, Skype or a combination of all three.

We would love to talk to you about your options. Feel free to give us a call at 727-549-1416 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or Click on Message (which is located at the bottom right-hand side of your screen) if you would like to talk to someone in our office right now.
